Matthew Lomeli M.D.
Dr. Matthew Lomeli epitomizes excellence in family medicine physician who actively serves as Medical Director for telehealth, patient access, and a dynamic patient service center with an integrated call center. With a robust background as a former Medical Director overseeing diverse clinics, Dr. Lomeli brings a wealth of expertise to his current role.
At the helm of clinical operations, Dr. Lomeli provides invaluable support and guidance, coordinating across various functions within the patient service center. His visionary leadership, in collaboration with Le, has been instrumental in the establishment of groundbreaking initiatives, including the inception of a pioneering telehealth program and a 24/7 on-demand telehealth service.
He is passionate about patient care and improving the patient experience; evidenced by him starting a circumcision and dermatology program for primary care providers and teaches both areas to providers, residents, and medical students. Furthermore, he serves on a Peer Review Board and previously was the Hypertension and Diabetes Champion, where he helped re-write an organization’s care guidelines.
Dr. Lomeli graduated from Whittier College, earning his BA in Biology, and went on to complete medical school at The Ohio State University. His professional experience includes serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in El Salvador and completing his Family Medicine Residency in the Navy at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton. With eight years of service for the U.S. Navy, encompassing roles as both a Flight Surgeon and family physician, Dr. Lomeli brings a unique perspective shaped by his dedication to serving others. He enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.

With over 25 years of experience in healthcare administration and leadership, Le's expertise spans across various domains including: health services operations, virtual care, contact centers, health plans, and durable medical equipment organizations.
Throughout his career, Le has been at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence, particularly in roles focusing on call center management, 24/7 virtual care programs, and the strategic acquisition and integration of medical, dental, and behavioral health clinics. His adeptness in navigating regulatory landscapes, including CMS, DMHC, DHCS, TMJ, HRSA, and NCQA compliance, underscores his commitment to delivering quality healthcare solutions.
Le has played pivotal roles in community initiatives such as the Orange County Health Access Task Force, where he served as a key member of the Steering Committee. He also serves on the mPulse Customer Advisory Council, demonstrating his dedication to advancing patient-centric care.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Le is deeply committed to personal and professional development. He has held leadership positions such as President of the Employee Activity Committee and Vice President of Membership for Toastmasters Well Said chapter. As a Certified Competent Communicator and Competent Leader, Le exemplifies effective communication and leadership skills.
Le Nguyen holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University of Fullerton.
Outside of work, Le enjoys exploring new destinations, playing baseball, and coaching his daughter’s soccer team. Above all, he most enjoys spending time with family and friends, balancing dedication to his career and personal fulfillment.
